Second Amendment Congressional Watch

If the General Election were held today, OBAMA WOULD WIN.

If the General Election were held today, OBAMA WOULD WIN. He has recently seen a substantial rise in his poll numbers.

As nice as it would be to see him finished as a one term President  ….oops …Criminal, there is the distinct possibility of him being re-elected. We all need to consider that possibility, and while keeping up our best efforts to see him defeated, we need to start working on those in both chambers of Congress.

Some pundits are now saying there is a possibility of actually not only winning control of the Senate, but there is the possibility of winning a super majority. If that were to happen, at least on some issues, with the help of some of the centrist Democrats, a veto proof majority is possible.

A complete list of the Class 1 Senators are HERE. You know, the ones up for election this cycle.

As the entire House is up for re-election, serious thought needs to be on who are defeated/re-elected. If it became possible of a veto proof vote in the House as well, Barry would end up being a lame duck.

Many worry about his possible appointments to the Supreme Court. It is up to us, We the People, the voters, to make sure we elect the right individuals to the Senate, with the firm understanding that we expect them to FAIL TO CONFIRM any unsuitable nominee to the Supreme Court.

While ANY Presidential election is important, this year, the Congressional elections are absolutely critical. If Obama is re-elected, we still have the ability to shorten his hobbles to such an extent he can’t walk.  Also, the House vote is so important because it controls the MONEY. Basically, the House could virtually ground Air Force 1 with the stipulation it was only to be used for ESSENTIAL business. Vacations are out. He could vacation at Camp David, with the ENTIRE family using Marine 1, which includes the dog, IN ONE TRIP.

Of course he did as have many others. When I read articles like this the word “treason” comes to mind.

Obama has a stronger work ethic than Bush. The reason the Christmas trips have to be done in two installments is because he stays back to work on issues. Plus, he only takes family vacations twice a year – once at Christmas & once in the summer. We all benefit from a refreshed president.

As a point of respect, regardless of who is the president, you should refer to him with the respect that his office demands. I don’t care if you agree with him or what you think of him but by not referring to him by his LEGAL ELECTED POSITION, you cheapen the office.

I for one will be supporting Obama. The republican candidates are disgraceful. Mitt is pretending to be an average joe concerned about the middle class, when in fact his policies have created economic stratification. He is only concerned about the wealthy, taking from the bottom to give to the top. Santorum is an evangelical nut job, who is so un-American he can not fathom the notion of separation of church from state. Gingrich is a has been who brought our party to defeat in the past, and can only drum up limited support. I have no choice this election! Why did my Republican party leave me? Is it because the party is nothing more than a host for the parasitic tea baggers? Regardless, until we focus back on America, stop pretending to be what we are not, understand American values in relation to the Constitution, then we are a doomed party.
