Yep. As was HR 822 in last congress. Don’t know if you remember but HR 2900 actually use the 2A for authority……

Hadn’t remembered the bill numbers, but I did remember that there was an NRA-supported bill that claimed to draw its authority from the interstate commerce clause, and a GOA-supported one that drew on the 2nd Amendment, as incorporated by the 14th Amendment.
